Section 412.191 the Mayer has called a special meeting of the Village Council to be held in the Village Office, Wednesday, December 3, 1958 at 12:00 noon, to act as Canvassing Board of the Village of Mound Election. Village Hall The Village Council acting as a Canvassi~ug Board was called to order at 12 noon, December 3, 1958 at the Village Of Zice. Present: Mayor Behmler, Trustees Larson, Brazman and Manager Boxell. The Village Manager presented the election returns to the council. Brazman offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, WHEREAS, on December 2, 1958 a Village Election was duly held in tbs ........ Village of ~round for the election of tw~ (2) Trustees for a term of three (3) years; a Justice of the Peace for the term .~ of two (2) years; and a Oonstablefor the term of two (2) years, and WHEREAS,the Judges for said Election having duly counted the votes cast therein~ proclaimed the results and recorded the same in the tally books, provided for the purpose as follows: TRUSTEES 1. Bryan H. lmeterson 2. Gordon E. Batdorf 3. Bradley Morrison 4. Hayes R. Dalton 3 years 391 votes 364 votes 353 votes 262 votes JUSTICE OF THE PEACE 1. Douglas Bryce 2. Carl Adams 446 votes 234 votes 2years 572 votes 109 votes WRITE IN VOTES Trustee - Frank Livingston Justice of the Peace - Bradley Morrison Justice of the Peace - Charles Kelly 1 vote 1 vote 1 vote Disqualified Total number of votes cast 1 vote 699 votes and, pursuant to M.S.A. ~No. 212.36, the Village Council shall meet as a Canvassing Board and declare the results appearimg from said returns, and~ WHEREAS, pursuant to said statute, the Village Council now meets as a Canvassing Board for such purpose, NOW THEREFORE~ be it resolved that the following persons are declared elected to the following offices, Trustee::- Byron H. Peterson Trustee - Gordon E. Batdorf Justice of the Peace - Douglas Bryce Constable - Paul Farren The Village Clerk is hereby instructed to give written notice te each person chosen of his election to the office named and te certify the results of said election to the County Auditor~ Larson seconded the motion. The results of zoll'callvote is as follows: Larson Aye Brazman Aye Behmler Aye so carried and so resolved. 1896 VILLAGE OF MOUND Brazman moved that the Village Manager and the Village Attorney be instructed to look into Voter Registration and Date of Village Election; and make a report to the Council at its regular February Meeting. Larson seconded the motion, the vote was unanimously in favor , so pas sed. Larson moved the meeting be adjourned until the regular meeting of December 9, 1958, 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station. Brazmau seconded the motion, the vote was unanimously in favor, so passed, so adjourned.
