412.191 the Mayer has called a special meeting of the Village
Council to be held in the Village Office, Wednesday, December 3,
1958 at 12:00 noon, to act as Canvassing Board of the Village of
Mound Election.

THE MINUTES OF CANVASSING ~A~D ~ING - December 3, 1958, 12 noon
at Mound. Village Hall
The Village Council acting as a Canvassi~ug Board was called to order at 12
noon, December 3, 1958 at the Village Of Zice. Present: Mayor Behmler,
Trustees Larson, Brazman and Manager Boxell.
The Village Manager presented the election returns to the council.
Brazman offered the following resolution and moved its adoption,
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1958 a Village Election was duly held in tbs
........ Village of ~round for the election of tw~ (2) Trustees for a
term of three (3) years; a Justice of the Peace for the term
.~ of two (2) years; and a Oonstablefor the term of two (2)
years, and
WHEREAS,the Judges for said Election having duly counted the votes cast
therein~ proclaimed the results and recorded the same in the
tally books, provided for the purpose as follows:

Canvassing Board and declare the results appearimg from said returns,

WHEREAS, pursuant to said statute, the Village Council now meets as a
Canvassing Board for such purpose,
NOW THEREFORE~ be it resolved that the following persons are declared
elected to the following offices,
Trustee::- Byron H. Peterson
Trustee - Gordon E. Batdorf
Justice of the Peace - Douglas Bryce
Constable - Paul Farren
The Village Clerk is hereby instructed to give written notice te
each person chosen of his election to the office named and te
certify the results of said election to the County Auditor~
Larson seconded the motion. The results of zoll'callvote is as follows:

so carried and so resolved.

VILLAGE OF MOUND
Brazman moved that the Village Manager and the Village Attorney be
instructed to look into Voter Registration and Date of Village Election;
and make a report to the Council at its regular February Meeting.
Larson seconded the motion, the vote was unanimously in favor , so
pas sed.
Larson moved the meeting be adjourned until the regular meeting of
December 9, 1958, 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station. Brazmau
seconded the motion, the vote was unanimously in favor, so passed,
so adjourned.
