MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
P.M. at the Island Park Village Hall.

Present were: ~Mayor H. B, R. Larson, Trustees Gordon Batdorf, Byron
Petersen, Howard Om; Attorney Ploetz and Manager Boxell.
The Mound Village Council met in joint session with the Island Park Village
Council to conclude certain necessary business before the dissolution of the
Island Park Council and final annexation of the Village of Island Park to the
Village of Mound.

Discussion of various problems and situations between the two councils and
the citizens present. ~
Mayor Glenn Rogers after paying tribute to the clerk and treasurer for their
faithful service presented the key to Island Park to Mayor H. B. R. Larson
as. a token of annexation of Island Park to Mound. Members of both councils
spoke briefly.
Batdorf moved and Petersen seconded a motion to adjourn until the regular
meeting of March 8, 1960 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station. The vote
was unanimously in favor. So carried and adjourned.
