A meeting was arranged for Friday, March 11, 1960 at noon; the place to be set later. ISLAND PARK The matter of integration of the affairs of Island Park and Mound, and the pro- gress of such, was discussed. ORDINANCES Ordinances were discussed, the Cigarette Vending Ordinance in particular. Mayor Larson will attend. MINNETRISTA VOTING IN THE MOUND VILLAGE The practi~ of Minnetrista Township holding their elections in ~he Village of MoUnd was discussed. Attorney Ploetz was instructed to look into the matter and report at the adjourned meeting of March 29, 1960 WATER PETITION The matter of securing water in the Three Points area was discussed. RESIGNATION OF THE VILLAGE MANAGER The resignation of Village Manger Vernon Boxell was read. Batdorf moved and Peterson seconded a motion. BE IT MOVED, the Village Council of the Village of Mound accept the resignation of the Village Manager, Vernon Boxe11 effective April 15, 1960. The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried and accepted. ENGINEERS The matter of sewers was discussed. The Village Manger was instructed to comtact Shhoel and Madsen ~or information on former Island Park plans. Batdorf moved and Orn seconded the motion to adjourn until the adjourned meeting of March 11, 1960 at 1:00 P.M. at the Moun~/illage Office. The vote was unamiously in favor. So carried and adjourned.
