BE IT MOVED the Village Council of the Village of Mound accept the bid of Cox Bros. for 500 ton more or less at $1,~35 per ton. The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried and ~accepted. SALT BID Batdorf moved and Petersen seconded a motion~ BE IT MOVED the Village Council of the Village of Mound accept the bid of Morton Salt Co, for 350 - 100 cw~. bag~ mop,re or less at 1.03 per cw~. a stop charge of $2.00 is added. The vote was unanimously in f~vor so carried and accepted. FUEL OIL BID Batdorf moved and Petersen seconded a motion. BE IT MOVED the Village Council of the Village of Mound accept the bid of Minnetonka Oil Co. for 15,000 gallon~ mom or less, #~ fuel oil at 1.2..5 per gallon~. ~nd 1,500 gallons more or ~e ss of #l fuel oil at 13.5 ~ per gallon. ~he vote was unanimOUSly in fav0~ so' carrie~' and acce~ted. ~ :~ '~''~ ~ FINANCING OF DEBT Pfeifer offered the following resolution and moved it s adoption. the motion~ Petersen seconded PO,~ CA~T OF DE~S EXiSTI]~O AS OF DATE OF 105 WHEREAS by Order of the Minnesota Municipal Commission dated January 8, 1960; pursuant to favorable ~)opular ballot and pursuant to Chapter 6~6 laws 1959 Section ~ (MSA 412.071) the former Village of Island Park was annexed to the V~lla~e of Mound; ht~EPuEAS said Order, under specific: a~ithor~ty granted by the leglslatur~ in said act, o,de~ed tnet ~he respective territories remain individually responsible for their respective debts ss they did in fact e×f~st as of the date of the annexaMon; ~EREAS audit of the State Examiner has established the "Island Park" (Mound #2) debt aa of said date is $1~26~.51~ orders outstandin~ and accounts and salaries payable, and $2,593.85 deficit in Village contribution to ~.E.R.A.; and said audit has established the "Mound" (MOund #1) debt as of said date ~s $9,675 OC fire truck debt; · WHEREAS the "Island Park" (Mound #2) debt for orders outstanding and accounts and salaries payable is largely held by the State Bank of Mound in the for~ of warrants; AND ~EREAS it appears that a levy of $4,O20 per year in Island Park would pay the "Island Park" (Mound #2) "Orders and accounts and salaries. debt together with interest in five years; $710 per year in "Island Park" (Mound #2) would pay the "Island Park" (Mound #2) "P.E.R.A. contribution, together with any interest in four years; and $2,420 per year in Mound (MOund #1) would pay the "Mound, (Mound #1) debt w~t~ any interest in four years; NOW TH F~EFORE BE I? That there be levied against real and personal properties in "Island Park" (Mound #2) for each of the years 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964 for the reduction of "Island Park" (Mound #2) "out- standing orders and accounts and salaries debt" the sum of $4,020; and the sum of the balance thereof then remaining in 1965; 2. That there be levied against real and personal properties in "Island Park" (Mound #2) for each of the years 1961, 1962 and 1963 for the reduction of "Island Park" (Mound #2) "P.E.R.A. Village contribution, debt the sum of $710; and the sum of the bal~uce thereof then remaining in 1964; 3. That there be levied against real and personal properties in ~Mound (Mound #1) (as it existed prior to said annexation) for Resolution Ordering Levies For Payment of Debts ~xisting as of Date of Annexation Page 2 each of the years 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964 for the reduction of "Mound" (Mound #1) "Fire Truck" debt, the sum of $2~420. 4. That the Village Clerk be~ and hereby is directed to certify the levies herein ~o the County Auditor, Hennepin County. 5. That the Vil±age Clerk be, and hereby is directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the State Bank of Mound.
