BE IT MOVED the Village Council of the Village of Mound accept the bid of Illies
and Son on Item ~ -Tin Shed' as advertised and pay the Village of Mound the
sum of $51.50 for the salvage.
The vote was unanimously in favor so carried.

BINGO PERMIT FOR CHURCH
The matter of a Bingo Permit for Our Lady of the Lake Church was discussed. No

Batdorf moved and Petersen seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED the Village Council of the Village of Mound grant a permit to the
Island Park Boy Scouts to sell Christmas Trees on the area designated by the
~anager and be it stipulated by the manager the lot and building be cleaned
up after such use.
The vote was unanimously in favor so carried.
WATE~AIN ON SANDY DRIVE
The village Council directs the clerk to advertise for a Public Hearing on a
proposed Water Main installation on Sandy Drive. Such hearing to be held at
8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Hall on November 29, 1960.
The clerk is directed to notify all property owners affected by certified mail
of the Public Hearing.

RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMEN%
WHEREAS pursuant to resolution of the council adopted September 13, 1960, a
report has been prepared by W~lliam Schoe11 with reference to the water
main improvement on Sandy Drive between the southerly line of Edgewater
Drive and the northerly line of Northern Lane by installation of water main
thereon, and this report was received by the council on October 18, 1960;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND,
k~INNESOTA
The council will consider the said improvement in accordance with the
report and an assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the
cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statues Sections 4Z9. 011
to 4Z9. 111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $4,035.
A public hearing shat1 be held on such proposed improvement on the Z9th
day of November, 1960, in the Village Fire Hall at 8:00 P.M. and the
clerk shall give pmblished notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.

CITIZENS PETITION AND COMPLAINT
Mrs. John Dale appeared befoe the Village Council and presented a petition to
remove the nuisance of wrecking cars and dumping on lauds in the Island Park
area of Mound. The matter received considerable discussion by the Council
and the petitioner.
STREET LIGHT
Batdorf moved and Petersen seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED the Village Council of the Village of Mound a~thorize the Northern
States Power Co. to move the street light from Lane 6 and Woodland to Lane 7
and Woodland at no cost to the Viliage.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried.
REZONING PETITION
.A petition was received to rezone Lots 12 and 13 of Block 3 Shirley Hills Unit D
The Village Council directs the Manager to direct the matter of rezoning to the
attention of the Planning Commission and request a decision, under Section 23.250
Section 9.09. and to also include Lots 9, l0 and ll of Block 3 ShirAeyHills Unit
D.
REFUND ON BUILDING PE~4ITS
Batdorf moved and Petersen second a motion.
BE IT MOVED, the fee of $7.00 paid by Mrs. Edwin Ott for an unused Building Permit
be refunded.
The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. ~

BE IT MOVED the Village of Mound donate a copy of the Village Code of Ordinances to
the Mound Public Library and to the League of Minnesota Municipalities, two
copies$ for reference.
