Present were: Mayor H. B. R. Larson, Trustees Petersen~.~atdorf and Pfeifer;
Attorney Grathwol and Manager Kopp.~
PUBLIC HEARING ~OR WA~E~AINnON SANDY DPY~VE
Minutes of previous meetings about such proposed water main were read;, certified
publication of notice of hearing was displayed; receipts of certified mail
delivery to affected property owners were displayed.
Appearing were: Mrs. Jsmes Camp and Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Nickish and Engineer Bill
Schoell of Schoell and Madson.
The estimate of the project by Schoell and Madson was Sh~oo0.
Petersen moved and Batdorf seconded the motion.
BE IT MOVED, the hearing for Watermain on Sandy Drive be continued until Dec. 20,
1960 at 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried~
The Village Manager was directed to:
Secure opinion of real estate men on saleableness of property
2. Size of lots in relation to erecting buildings
3. Investi§ate taxes on the properties and whether paid on such property
h. Poll property owners as to interest in project - pro or con

Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED, the bids received on the repair of the Street and Water Building on
Island Park be rejected.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried and rejected.
PETITION ON WATER INSTALLATION on Harrison Shores
The matter of Water installation in the three points area was tabled until other
rumored petitions were received for the area.
BILL PRESENTED
Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion
BE IT MOVED, the bill of Home Gas Company for $124.41 be paid where funds are
available.
The vote was unanimously in favor. Oo carried.

Present were:, Mayor Larson, Trustees Petersen~ Om, Batdorf, Pfeifer; Attorney
Ploetz and Manager Kopp.
Planning Commission
Attending were the members of the Planning Commission and James Hawks of the
Midwest Planning and P~search Company.
Mr. Hawks explained his service in detail and answered questions of the Commission,
the Co~mcil, the attorney and the ~anager. A contract with a cost estimate will
be worked out with the advice of t he Village Attorney and the Engineer and presented
to the Council fozTM consideration on December 13, 1960.
PUBLIC HEAPING FOR ZONING
Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED, the proposed amendment of Zoning Ordinance for Halstead Heights and
area annexed; the Three Points area annexed; the Island Park area annexed;.
and the proposed amendment to Shirley Hills Unit D. Lots 9, 10, ll, 12, 13
Block 3 and Auditor's Subdivision #170 Lot B, be set for hearing on January
3, 1961 at the Island Park Hall, Mound, Minnesota. Such action is taken
at Council initiative, and
The Village Clerk is authorized and ~irected to publish notice of such
hearing in the legal newspaper.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried.
Batdorf moved and Orn seconded a motion to adjourn until the regular meeting of
