Present were: Mayor Larson, Trustees Petersen, Orn~ Batdorf, Pfeifer; Attorney
Ploetz and Manager Kopp.
Plannin$ Commission
Attending were the members of the Planning Commission and James Hawks of the
Midwest Planning and Research Company.
Mr. Hawks explained his service in detail and answered questions of the Commission,
the Council, the attorney ahd the Manager. A contract with a cost estimate will
be worked out with the advice of the Village Attorney and the Engineer and presented
to the Council for consideration on December 13, 1960.
PUBLIC HEAP~ING FOR ZONING
Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED, the ~roposed amendment of Zoning Ordinance for Halstead Heights and
area annexed; the Three Points area annexed; the Island Park area anneXed;
and the proposed amendment to Shirley Hills Unit D. Lots 9, lO, ll, 12, 13
Block 3 and Auditor's Subdivision #170 Lot B, be set for hearing on January
3, 1961 at the Island Park Hall, Mound, Minnesota. Such action is taken
at Council initiative, and~
The Village Clerk is authorized and ~irected to publish notice of such
hearing in the legal newspaper.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried.

The Minutes of the Canvasing Board, November 9, 1960 were read. Orn
moved and Batdorf seconded a motion the minutes of the Canvasing Board
Meeting of November 9, 1960 be accepted as read. The vote was unanimously
in favor so carried and accepted.
The Minutes of the regular meeting of November 9m 1960 were read. Batdorf
moved and Petersen seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the regular
meeting of November 9, 1960 as read. ~ The vote was unanimously in favor.
So carried and accepted.
The minutes of the adjourned meeting of November Z2, 1960 were read. Batdorf
moved and Orn seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the adjourned meeting
of November 22, 1960 as read. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried
and accepted.

moved and Batdorf seconded a motion ~o accept the minutes of the adjouned
