D. Conkey,. Mrs. John Dale. The Proposed Amendment publication is attached. George The amendment is reviewed by classifications: MULTIPLE DWELLING: Council was polled to leave out Lot B Block 3 Shirley Hills Unit D all in favor Conncil was polled about lot size requirement per family unit - .5,000 ft per family unit was propesed - all in favor Council Polled on Set-Back Reuirements - Maximimum of 60 ft. and a minimum of 30 feet was proposed - allin favor Council polled on Side yard requirements - no change Council polled on rear and side yaard requirements - no change Council polled on units in proposed Multiple Dwelling Use District B proposed - only Z family dwellings, apartments and flats be allowed - all in favor Council ~olled on establishing Multiple Dwelling Use District B all in favor COMMERCIAL Council polled ~f'accepting district as advertised with the exceptions of Lot 19 Block 11, Arden - all in favor Lots ~6 and ~7~ Lafayett*~ Par~ L~t 1~ ~-/9,-Block ~, Block ORDINANCE NUMBER llZ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE:iMOIJND ZONING ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 23, OF THE MOUND VILLAGE CODE WHEREAS, the Council did cause to be published, and there was published, in the official Village newspaper, A ?Notice of Hearing of the ProposaI to amend Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mound, Chapter 23, Mound Village Code; WHEREAS, said notice was published December 22, 1960, being at least ten days, but not more than twenty days prior to the date of the hearing; WHEREAS, Public hearing was held and all interested parties heard and afforded an opportunity to be heard; AND WHEREAS, it appearing to be in the best interests of the Village of Mound, to be in conformity with existing and future uses of the land within the Village, and to be in the interest of orderly developement, and financial progress of the lrillage and in the interest of the health and welfare of the residents, AN ORDINANCE NUMBER 1 lZ ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOUND ZONING ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 23, OF THE MOUND VILLAGE CODE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA That Chapter 23, of the Mound Village Code, be amended by adding thereto Section 23. 011 as follows to wit: "INCREASING THE RESIDENTIAL USE DISTRICT "A" Said Residential Use District "A" as established in Section 23.01 and as shown on the Zoning Map of Mound, Minnesota, is amended by adding thereto: Ira. b. That Chapter 23 be amended by adding thereto Section 23. 061 as followS, to wit: "CREATING AND EXPANDING I~ULTIPLE DWELLING USE DISTRICT "B" Said use districts as established in Section 23.01 and as shown on said "Zoning Map of Mound, lV[(n~esota", are amended by adding thereto Multiple Use District "B" and expanding the same by adding thereto: a. Lots 9 - 13, inclusive, Block 3, Shirley Hills, Unit D." 4. That Chapter 23 be amended by adding thereto Section 23. 131 as follows, to wit: "MUT~TIPLE DWELLING USE DISTP, ICT "B", CONFOKMING USES, in the multipte dwelling district, unless otherwise provided in this ordinance, no building shall be erected to a building height of more than two stories or 28 feet nor sl~ll any building have less than 30 feet nor more than 60 feet front ~r~l set back; nor shall there be less than'~ 5, 000 square feet of lot area per family dwelling unit; nor shall any building be used or hereafter erected or structurally altered except for on~ o~ more of the following uses: 1. All uses permitted in Sections 23. 11 and 23.12 2. Two-family-dwellings, apartments and flats. '' 5. That Chapter 23, Section 23.0Z be amended by adding thereto as follows, to wit: "g. Lots 9 - 13, inclusive, Block 3, Shirley Hills, Unit D." and that the same be deleted from the Residential Use District to all effects and purposes as if orginally omitted therefrom in said Mound Zoning Ordinance. 6. Amending Chapter 23, Section Z3. 1Z, subdivsion b, by adding thereto the following: "Provided that in the case of an irregularly shaped lot, the said 50 foot width requirement shall not obtain where such lot has a minimum of 30 foot front width; a minimum of 60 foot width at the building set-back llne, and a minimum area of 6,000 square feet and providing other donditions of the ordinance, not inconsistent hereivith be met." 7. Amending Chapter 23, Section 23. Z0 subdivison d; by adding thereto the following: "Provided that in the case of an irregularly shaped lot, the said 60 foot width requirement shall not obtain where such lot has a minimum of 30 foot front; with a minimum of 60 foot width at the building set-back line, ands minimum area of 6,000 square feet and providing other conditions of the or~inances,.~nOt inconsistent herei~ith be met." 147 RESIDENTIAL Council polled for accepting district as advertised - all in favor SET BACK REGULATIONS AND LOT SIZES A_ND DEA4INSIONS Council polled on set back regulations for irregular shaped lots proposed 30 ft. on road and 60 £t. at building llne of house and the necessary 6,000 sq. feet. - all in favor Pfeifer moved the following ordinance. Orn seconded the motion. The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried. Batdorf moved and Petersen seconded a motion to adjourn until the regular meeting of January 10, 1961 at the Mound Fire Station at 8:00 P. Iv[. RESOL~TION' DESIGNATING OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR VILLAGE FUNDS AND REQUIRING APPROPRIATE SEC URITY THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL, WILL OF MOUN~ That the State Bank of Mound, Mound, Minnesota, and Farmers and Mechanics Savings Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota be designated as official depositories of the Village funds; That suitable collateral security be required of the State Bank of Mound, in the amount of $175,OO0.OO (One hundred seventy five thousand dollars); 3. That the treasurer deposit in-~Such depOsi, tory Village funds not to exceed 9,0% of said collateral security as required and posted by such depository;. 4.
