PLANNING COb~ISSION RECOMMENDATIONS
Harlan Upton - requests permission to allow rental rooms inthe basement of duplex
on Lots 2 and 3, Kohman's Addition. This matter was discussed. No action taken.
Richard Johnson - requests vacation of Mea~ow Lane and a portion of Lake Street ($);
(2) Replatting of land adjacent to aforementioned vacation.

Lake Street and that portion lying westerly of the terminus of Meadow Lane

Elm Drive; they request that these streets be vacated.

Kenneth Tessmer - Request to divide Lots 1 and 2 Mound Terrace. This matter is
continued until April 18th meeting. Request for vacation of Sussex Lane - This
matter is continued until au~a~s~r is received from Northern States Power on
their property or plans in this area.
REDUCTION IN BEER LICENSE FEES
A request forthe reduction ~f the new fees for 3.2 Beer Licenses was received.
Appearing were A1 Q~ist and ~f~ed balm. This ~tter was continued until April
18th.
PROPOSED STREET LI~HTI~G PIAN
Northern States Power Company representatives appeared atthe meeting and discussed
long range plans for street lighting in the village, with the council.

RESOLUTION O!~E?g-NG PREPAP~ATION OF REPORT ON IMPP~OVEMENT
V~HERw~S it is proposed to improve West Edge Drive between the southerly line
of County Road #110 to thesoutherly boundary of the Great Northern
?~ilroad tradks and from the westerly boundary and limits to the
easterly line of Government Lot 3 and the Village limits by install-
ation of water main thereon, and to assess the benefitted property for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota
Statues, Section ~29.Oll to h29olll (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED B~ THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOU>.ID, MINNESOTA:
That t he proposed improvement be referred to Schoell and Madsen, Village
Engineers, for study and that they are instructed to report to the council
with all co~ventent speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement~ and
the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.

DOG ORDINANCES
Amendments to the Dog Ordinance were discussed. The Council was ~olled on a
reaso~able pick up fee and the Council were ~uanimous for a pick up fee of $3.00
CLOSING CHUPEH WAY TEMPORARILY
A request was received from N. W. Tonka Lions Club to close Church Way for three
days.
Petersen moved and Orn seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED, Church Way be closed on June 16, 17 and 18 to allow the staging of
a Safari Show.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried.

BE IT MOVED, a Strret Light of 6,000 lumen be installed at #110 and Wen~nah as
designated on the Northern States Power Map.
