Bursaw agrees in a letter on file in the Village Office to connect up to water as

of the Planning Commission and permit Mary Bursaw and Clarence Blood to
install a septic system in variance with the code, and to come within five feet
of the property line; the agreement to install water as soon asii.~.t~ecomes
available becomes part of the motion.

FIELD DAYS FOR ISLAND PARK FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Island Park Fire Dept. has set August 4, 5 and 6th for their annual Field
Days and request they have the use of the Island Park Hall during this period
and also that they be allowed to cover the no par~ing signs along Leslie Lane
and the ~d Park Hall during this period.

Island Park Hall be removed for August 4, 5, and 6th and restored by the
Chief of Police on August 7, 1961.

A written request was received from the Island Park Fire Dept. dated July 1,
1961 for the staging of a Bingo Game at their Field Days on Aug. 4, 5, and 6th.
No action taken.
HARRISON SHORES
A request was received from Cappy Jones to be allowed to clear only 40 feet
instead of the 60 feet agreed upon as he had to destroy many beautiful trees
and he would agree to retain the orginal 60 feet as right-of-way.

BE IT MOVED the request of Mr. Jones to clear only 40 feet on roadways in
Harrison Shores but to allow the orginal 60 feet as right of way.

A written request from the N.W. Tonka Lions to stage a Bingo Games was
received June 3, 1961, the game to be held in conjunction with the "Safari"
on July 14, 15 and 16, 1961.

The Village Council of the Village of Mound, Minnesota, ordains:
That Chapter 46, Mound Code of Ordinances, entitled "Regulation of Traffic
'Vetz~cles, Bicycles and Parking, and particularly section 46. 10 thereof be,
and hereby is, amended to read as follows, to wit:
"Section 46. 10 Highway Traffic Regulation Act Incorporated by Reference

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COU~EIL OF ND MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the said improvement Ln accordance
with the report and the assessment of the said ~roperties and
abutting property for all or a portion of the c~st of the im-
provement pursuant to Minn. Stats., Secs. 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $3,366.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on
the 22nd day of August, 1961, in the Village Fire Hall at 8:00
o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
