NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MO~D, MINNESOTAI
1. The Mayor and clerk are hereby authorized a~M directed to mater into the
attached contrac% with Northern Contracting Company of Hopkins, Minnesota in
the name of Village for the improvement of West Edge Drive between the southerly
line of County Road No. 110 to the southerly boun&~_~y of the Great Northern
Railroad Tracks and from the Westerly bo,madary and limits of the village to the
easterly line of Government Lot 3 and the Village IAmits by installtion thereon
of a watermain, hydrants and accessories there~n according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the village council and on file in the office
of the village clerk.
2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized a nd directed to return forth~th
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids~ except that the deposits of
the sueoessful bidders and the next losest bidder shall be retained until a
oontraet ha~ been signed.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PURCHASE OF LAND
Orn offered the following resolution and moved its adoption.

WHEREAS by resolution duly adopted July 11, 1961, the council authorized and
directed the mayor and the manager to negotiate the purchase from Northern
States Power Co. of certain lands within the Village of Mound.
WHEREAS it appears necessary and expedient to acquire said lands for any of a
number of necessary village purposes.
WHEREAS the mayor and the manager have negotiated a price within the authority
designated by said resolutions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED B~ THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUND
1. That the Village purchase for the price of $850.00 from Northern States
Power Co. the properties described as Lot 1, Kennedy's Subdivision of Lot
56, Lynwold Park, and the westerly 30 feet of Lots 53, 54 and 55, Lynwold
Park.
