MOW THEREFORE, m~. IT RESOLVED BY THE ¥ILLASE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the i~provement of such public streets and
roads ia accordance with t~e l'~port and the assessment of benefitting property for
all or a portion of the cost hhereof pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections
429.0il to 429o111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as a~ended) at a~eesti~ated total cost of
~he i~provement of $25,280.

The petition was declared valid by the Village Attorney, in form.

BIDS FOR CONCORD WATER IMPROVEMENT
Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion to receive the bids for water
improvement on Concord Boulevard. The vote was unanimously in favor.

VACATION OF STREETS IN HARRISON SHORES
Roger Reed appeared for Evan Jones on the vacation of streets in the Harrison
Shores plat.

held at Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the imanager requesl's
Batdorf moved and Koehn seconded a motion to appoin; manage
as delegate to the Minneaota Municipal League Convention in
the Village of Mound, Minnesota, wit~ such priviledges and
upon such a delegate.
The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried.

NOW THEREFOr, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications therefor, copies of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The village clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be pubAished one time; the advertisement shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids sha~l be received until 5:00 porn. CDT, June 19, 1962, at the
Village Hall, and be received and publicly opened at 7:30 p.m. on June 19, 1962 at
the Village Fire Station by the village manager and the village consulting engineer,
will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 8~00 p.m. om June
19, 1962, in the Village Fire Station, shall state that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the clerk amd accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the clerk for five (5) percemt of
the amount of such bid, and shall state that prospective bidders shall s~bmit
duplicate copies of a bidder's qualificatio~ form to the office of Schoell and
Madson not less than five (5) days prior to the date for £aking bids°
