DOG ORDINANCE Norman Skaret,a~n Plant, George Stanard and Duane Dodds appeared before the council and complained the Dog Ordinance does not meet the needs of the citizens. Pfeifer moved and Koehn seconded a motion to set the date of a vacation of Meadow Street from Wenonah Road to Ridgewood. MENT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIM WHEREAS, ou September 22, 1962 one of the village fire truc]~s was involved ia a collision with the autbmab~l&edriven by Henry J. Rohlfsen and ~maged therebyj WHEREAS. the said damage has been repaired at a cost of Six Hundred Sixty-seven and 30/100 ($667.30) Dollars and the fire chief advises that repair is complete, AND WHEREAS the village attorney, acting under authorization and direction of the council, has obtained offer for settlement of the claim of the Village of Momnd for said property damage in the amount of Six Hundred Sixty-seven and 30/100 $667.30) Dollars NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OOUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA: 1. That the village hereby accept said offer. 2. That the mayor and the village manager be, and hereby are, authorized amd directed to execute in behalf of ~he village, in consideration off ~he receipt of the sum of Six Hundred Sixty-seven and 30/100 ($667°30) Dollars a full and general release for the claim of the village for such property damage. 3. M. be set as the date of the Public Hearing for the consideration of the installation of Municipal Water in the Island Park area, BE IT FURTHER MOVED, the clerk be directed to advertise this hearing in the offical newspaper for the legal time and to mail to each property owner in said area notice of such hearing, in the manner and time prescribed by law. The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried. Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion to adjourn until the meeting of Nov. 1962 at 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station. RK$0LUTI0[T RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON .WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted May 2h, 1960, s report has been prepared by Schoell and Madson, Village Consulting Engineers, with reference to the imorovement of all tracts, parcels and pieces of property within that oortion of the Village of Mound which, as of the let of January, 1960, was the Village of Island Park by installation of water mains, hydrants, wells, pumps, tanks and other appurtenances of a water system, and this report was received by the Council on February 22, 1962: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA: The council will consider the said imorovement in accordance with the report and consider the assessment of benefitting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections h29.011 to h29.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $?03,500. A public hearing shall be held on such oroposed improvement on the hth day of December, 1962, in the Auditorium of the Shirley Hills School at 8:00 p. m., and the clerk shall give published and mailed notice of such hearing as required by law.
