RESOLUTION ESTABL~SHING AND PROVIDING
FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF A MUNICIPAL
COURT FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUND, MINN.
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes section h88o03 establishes a municipal
court in each village with l~O00 or more inhabitants~ subject to the
organization of such court by resolution adopted by the council of
each such village;
WHEREAS, the 1960 census population of the Village of Mound was
inhabitants and the population has increased since the census;
AND WHEREAS, the best interests of the Village of Mound require a
municipal court for the Village of Mound;
~DW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VIL. LAGE COUNCIL OF MgUND, MINNESOTA:
1. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute section 488.03, a munieipal court for
the Village of Mound be, and hereby is, organized to operate and convene
with all authority and jurisdiction conferred by the laws of the State of
Minnesota.

2. The said court shall have k~ municipal judge(s), and __~ special
municipal judge(s) who shall serve when the municipal judge(s) is (are)

unable to serve. The qualifications, compensation, appointment, and election
of the judges and special judges shall be as provided by the laws of the
State of Minnesota. Every such judge and such special judge shall reside

within the Village of Mound.
3. The said court shall hold its sessions in the Village Fire Hall until
such time as regular courtroom facilities are available and provided
elsewhere and shall be held at such time or times as prescribed by law and
by court rule.

4. There shsll be one Clerk of Municipal Court whose cm

and perform such duties as prescribed by law.

deem necessary; provided, said rules are not inconsistent ~
Statute or Municipal Court Rules.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF
EASEMENTS BY NIGHT OF E~INENT DOMAIN
WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable, and expedient, and in the public interest
that the Village of Mound acquire access easements, construction easements, trunk
and lateral easements, slope easements, and pumping station easements for the put-
pose of a municipal sewage collection system in sewer project 62-1, and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish such purpose it is necessary and expedient to
procure such easements by right of eminent domain as the most just and fair way of
determining the cost of acquisition of such lands and easements and the rights there-
in, such lands being si~lated in the Village of Mound, ttennepin County, Minnesota,
and described as follows:
A 30 foot temporary construction easement and a 15 foot perpetual
easement for sanitary sewer purposes over and across Lots 8, 9,'
28 and 29, Block 15, Arden, the centerline of both easements being
the Southerly lines of said Lots 8 and 29.
A temporary construction easement for sanitary sewer purposes over
and across: The Southeasterly 10 feet of Lots 4 to 10 inclusive,
Block 2, Avalon, the Northwesterly 10 feet of Lot 1, Block 5,
Avalon, the Northwesterly 10 feet of Lot 10, Block 6, Avalon,
and over and across that part of the Northwesterly 10 feet of
Lot 1, Block 6, Avalon lying Southwesterly of the Southeasterly
extension of the Northeasterly line of Lot 4, Block 2, Avalon.
A temporary construction easement for sanitary sewer purposes
