BE IT MOVED, Ferd Schwartz be granted a license to operate three taxi-cabs
in the Village of Mound for the year 1963.
The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried and granted.
PURCHASE OF CEMETERY LAND
Ray Salden appeared - no action was taken_price too high
CAPPY JONES REQUEST
Cappy Jones has abandoned his request on Lot 45, Auditor's Sub. 168. The
council felt he should be commended for his action in removing the old store
building from from the property.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DUES
The subject of the Village paying dues to the Chamber of Commerce was discussed.

STREET SWEEPER
The possible purchase of a used Street Sweeper was discussed, the council wanted
more definite information.
SEWER-HOOK UP ORDINANCE
The proposed ordinance was discussed after its first reading.
BICYCLE LICENSE
The proposed amendment to the Bicycle License was discussed. A council poll
set 75~ as an all-time license on a bicycle and 25~ for change of owners.
HIL~R CONTRACT
Engineer had an emergency and could not attend - therefore no report.

BE IT MOVED, the council accept the priliminary plat plan of Lafayette Shores
streets to be 50 feet wide and 100 foot turn-around.
