Larson, Trustees Ray Koehn, Del Pfeifer, Gordon Batdorf, LeRoy Heikkila and Manager Leonard L. Kopp, Attorney Ray Ploetz MOUND AND ISLAND PARK FIRE DEPARTMENTS Present were: Bernard Winkel, Curley Koehler, Bud Om, Bob Johnson, Gene Garvais, Vernon P. Andersen, Jerry and Duane Dodds, Frank Weiland and Russ Orn .... Max Fayville, Jack Wilson, Cliff Shermon, John Kosch, Ken Storke, Glenn Rogers, A1 Swanson, A1 Boll, Roger Latterelle, Gordon Swenson, Bruce Jarvey, Bob Cheney. Rogers stated the fire trucks were turned over to the village of Island Park with the condition that the trucks should be used exclusively for the Island Park 'area. Discussion pro and con on why Mound department wanted to vote individually on each man and the rebuttal by the Island Park group with Gordon Swenson as spoke- s man. The counci ultimatum of the council was that there would be a merger by April 16th or a new fire department. A meeting was called for 7:30 P. Mi on the 16th. REZONING IN A. L. CROCKER'S LAKESIDE PARK Heikkila moved and Batdorf seconded a motion. RESOLUTION 63-69 RESOLUTION SETTING HEARING AND ORDERING PUBLICATION IN REZONING Roll Call Vote: Batdorf Aye Heikkila Aye Pfeifer Aye Koehn Aye Larson Aye So carried and resolved. ED WILLIA/vL$ PARKING LOT Pfeifer moved and Koehn seconded a motion. RESOLUTION 63-70 RESOLUTION CONDITIONALLY AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT Roll Call Vote: Batdorf Aye Pfeifer Aye Koehn Aye Heikkila Aye Larson Aye So carried and resolved. ROBERT HABERKORN SUB-STANDARD SIZE LOT Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion. BE ~T MOVED, that Robert Hoberkorn be granted a permit on the West 1/2 of Lot 3, Block 3, Whipple in variance with the Building Code, providing all other requirements are met. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. WARMING HOUSE FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT Batdorf moved and Koehn seconded a motion. BE IT MOVED, the School District be allowed to use the former ?J C. Warming House without a a foundation. Such building to be used in the summer as a' storage shed and in the wi-~:ter to towed to the rink and again used as a warming house, this would be in variance with the building code. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. NURSING HOME Mr. Harrington came to the council and asked he have some assurance that he would be allowed to build on the former Pete Sollie property on Commerce Blve. after the sewer is completed. RESOLUTION 63-71 RESOLUTION CONDITIONALLY AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT Batdorf moved and Koehn seconded the :~notion.
