1963-04-30MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING OF APRIL 30, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station Present were: Mayor H.B.R. Larson, Trustees Ray Koehn, Del Pfeifer, Leroy Heikkila, Manager Leonard L. Kop? and Attorney Ray Ploetz HEARING - Rezoning of Lots 7-28, Block 6, Lakeside Park A. L. Crockers 1st Divi sion Appearing were Mr. Gerald Fraser and Mr. Richard DeGuise the proponents; no opponents appeared. ' The advertisement publication was declared legal and sufficient. Mr. Fraser explained the project, which consisted of constructing four- plexes. Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion. The ordinance be amended to include these lots. ORDINANCE ~O. 156 AN ORDINANCE AMENDII~ CHAPTER 33, "ZONIN(S", OF TH~ ~0UND CODE OF OitDINANCE8 BI IT OItlIAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ~OUND, MINNESOTA: 1. That Chapter 23 of the Mound Code of Ordinances, entitled "Zoning", be, and hereby is, amended by reducing the Residential B Use District, as established in Section 33.01 and 23.05, thereof as amended, by removing therefro~ the following described tract: Lots 7-28, Block 6, Lakeside Park, A~. I~; Crocker's First Division, Mound, Minnesota. 2. That Chapter 33, of the Mound Code of Ordinances entitled "Zoning", be, and hereby is, amended bp adding to the provimions of Section 23.06 thereof, Multiple Dwelling Use District, the following described tract: Lots 7-28, Block 6, Lakeside Park, A. L. Crocker's First Division, Mound, Minnesota. 3. That this ordinance be effective from and after its adoption and publication according to law. Adopted April 30, 1963. Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion. RESOLUTION 63-86 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF DEED TO QUIET TITLE. RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT (Fern Street, Cedar Street, etc. Water) UNION WAGE DISCUSSION Roy Arneson of the Local 662, Teamsters Union, appeared before the Council to discuss wages. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECONVEYANCE TO THE STATE OF CERTAIN LANDS AND APPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN LANDS LANE 4 Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION FOR THE FILTING IN OF SWAMPY AREA WILSHIRE DRIVE IMPROVEMENT Pfeifer moved and Heikkila seconded the motion. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFI- CATIONS AND ORDEHING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (WILSHIRE DRIVE - STREET) TONKA TOYS USE PERMIT Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion. RESOLUTION 63-88 RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION FOR SPECIAL USE Roll Call Vote: Pfeifer Aye Koehn Aye Heikkila Aye Larson Aye So carried and resolved. CIGARETTE LICENSE Heikkila moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion. BE IT MOVED, a cigarette license be granted to FitZgerald Cafe at the Bus Depot. The vote was unanimously in favor; so carried. BEER LICENSE Pfeifer moved and Koehn the motion. The vote was unanimously in favor; so carried. Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion to adjourn until the adjourned meeting of May 7, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station.
