Larson, Trustees LeRoy Heikkila, Gordon Batdorf, Del Pfeifer, Attorneys Ray Ploetz and Louis Oberhouser, Manager Leonard Kopp and Engineer William Schoell. The lViinutes of the June llth, 1963 meeting were read. Heikkila moved and Batdorf seconded a motion to accept the minutes of June 11, 1963 as read. The vote was unaimously in favor, so carried and accepted. The rrmnutes of the June 18, 1963 meeting were read. Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion to accept the minutes of June 18th meeting as read. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. ~ The minutes of the July 1, 1963 meeting were read. Pfeifer moved and Batdorf seconded a motion to accept the minutes of July 1, 1963 aS read. The vote w~as unanimously in favor so carried. The m~nutes of the Board of Review July 8, 1963 were read. Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the B~ard of Review, jluly 8, 1963 as read. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried land accepted. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS~TIONS VACATION OF CHURCH WAY Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion. RESOLUTION 63 - 138 Roll Call Vote: Batdorf Aye Pfeifer Aye Heikkila Aye Lar s on Aye RESOLUTION ORDERING HEARING, PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF NOTICES THEREOF IN PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET {CHurch Way) So carried and resolved. BUILDING CODE VARIANCE REQUEST Mr. Fr. Wagner appeared and requested a variance in t~e Building Code to allow for 24" centers for roof construction. Heikkila moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, a variance be allowed in the Building code to allow 24" centers if the following points are incorporated 1. Trusses are to be used as specified 3/4" plywood roof sheathing is used 3. Ceiled with metal lath and plaster to prevent excessive deflection The vote was unaimously in favor so carried. REZONING OF ST. JOHN"S CHURCH PROPERTY A Business District B-2 was discussed. use of the property as a funeral home. TI~ vote was unanimously in favor so carried. · ICE CUBE MACHINE Batdorf moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, the bid of Chermak be accepted; upon comparison and an.~lysis of all features including service parts availability, and utility of cube prodawed.
