Present were: /Vlayor H. B. R. Larson, Trustees Del Pfeifer, Ray Koehn, Gordon
Batdorf and ]~eRoy Heikkila; Manager Leonard Kopp, and Attorneys O'Neil Grathwol
and Louis Oberhouser and Engineer Wm. Schoell
Noble Drive and Cedar Lane ~W.at, e.rMain Hearing
The attorneys declared the legal requirements to be met the the mailing and the
pulbished notice.
Appearing and speaking against the installtion of-water mains along Noble Drive
were George Thompson and /Virs. Thompson, William Eisler, Chellis Engstrom.
Op__~sition to the Cedar Lane ~ter main was expressed by Melvin Sohns,
~and Walter Stockton.
Ben Weiland spoke in favor of a main to aid in fire protection for the area and thus
not to distrub the fire classification of Mound; Lucille Dully spoke for a water main
rather than copper tubing in the village (she was not financially concerned in this
hear i~g)

Mayor Larson said he would advocate that the property owners! presently connected
to the Village water by copper lines need not pay the usual hook up charge. This
would have to be an'amendment to the ordinance.

The attorney declared the legla requirements were met and thee mailed notice and
the published notice were sufficient

BUILDING CODE
It was requested that Richard Ferrin live in an old cottage on Ids lOt while constructing
the large house, it was agreed that he could do this if he posted a $1,000.00 bond that
he would remove the cottage as soon as the large house habitable. The council gave
the manager leave to accept this bond.
