1963-09-17MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL HEARING of SEPTEMBER 17, at the MOUND FIRE STATION 1963 at 8:00 P. M. Present Were: Mayor H. B. R. Larson, Trustees LeRoy Heikkila, Del Pfeifer, Ray Koehn; Attorney Ray Ploetz and Manager Leonard Kopp HEARING FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT- Funeral Home Appearing were John Huber and David Lee as proponents. Also present were Abe Brazman and Lincoln Auld The attorney examined the affidavit of .publication and declared it to be sufficient and legal, therefore the Hearing was declared ready to be heard. Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion RESOLUTION 63- 196 Resolution Awarding Special Use Permit Roll Call Vote Pfeifer Aye He ikkila Ay e Koehn Aye Lar s on Aye SO carried and resolved FOR DISPOSAL PLANT SITE Heikkila moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion RESOLUTION 63- 197 Resolution Ordering Hearing on Rezoning (Parts of Government Lots 3 and 4, 23-117-24) Roll Call Vote. Pfeifer Aye Koehn Aye Heikkila Aye Lar s on Aye So carried and resolved MPLS GAS COMPANY 1V[r. Harry Kaess appeared, he stated that Minnegaso was unhappy but not at the mercy of the council as they do have a franchise and need not ask the council for any further permission INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN GAS MAINS Heikkila moved and Koehn seconded the motion RESOLUTION 63-198 Resolution Approving Application for Installation of Certain Gas Mains Roll Call Vote Pfeifer Aye Heikkila Aye Koehn Aye Larson Aye So carried and resolved LIBRARY The 1Viinnetrista Council appeared, Mayor Ed Ebert, Trustees Robert Fillmore, August Mader, Clerk Germain Boll. Attorney Roger Reed entered into the discussion. It was suggested the cost of the library will be divided on an assessed valvation basis ($1.00 for Minnetrista and $2.30 for Mound) A Library Ordinance was discussed. Koehn moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion to adjourn until the adjourned meeting of Sdptember 24, 1963 at the Mound Fire Station, at 8:00 P.M.
