1965-01-26?c~ 6- MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING OF JANUARY 26, 1965 at Mound Fire Station Present were: Mayor Koehn, Trustees Scruton, Pfeifer, Heikkila and Johnson~ Village M2~nager Kopp and Attorney Nell Grathwol. HEARING - Zoning from Industrial to Commercial (Great Northern Depot Site) The attorney declared the publication to be sufficient and legal. Mr. H. D. Hayman of Great Northern Railroad was present. Mr. Kopp read a letter from the Village Planning Consultant, Nason, Law, Wehrman and Knight relative to zoning this land Commercial. Pfeifer moved and Johnson seconded the motion. ORDINANCE NO. 183 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23, "ZONING", OF THE MOUND CODE OF ORDINANCES BE IT ORDAINED ~Y THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA: 1. That Chapter 27 of the Mound Code of OrdinanCes, entitled "Zoning", be, and hereby is, amended by reducin~ the Industrial Use E~strict, as established b~ S~ction 2D.01, by removing therefro~ the following describ~d tracts "That part of th~ S~vthwest Q~ar~er of the S~uthwest Quarter (SW ~ of the SW 5) of ~eetien 13, Township 117, Range 25, lying between Comeree B~uleva~d and Be]~m~nt D~iWe, and between ~unty B~ad 15 ar~ Great Northern 'Tracks." ~ 2. INVESTMENT OF FUNDS BILLS John moved, Pfeifer seconded, and it was unanimously carried to pay the follow- ing bill if funds are available: Mound Shopping Center (Rent for Liquor Store for Feb.) $412.50 MOUND MUNICIPAL COURT DISCUSSION Inasmuch as the County has not supplied a court as set up in the Minnesota Statutrs in the different outlying villages, it was Mr. Grathwol's recommendation that a communication be sent to the County requesting them to set up such a court in Mound. Johnson moved, Scruton seconded the motion: RESOLUTION 65-31 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A RESIDENT DEPUTY CLERK FOR THE HENNEPIN COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT Roll Call Vote Scruton Aye Heikkila Aye Johnsmu Aye Pfeifer Aye Koehn Aye So carried and resolved.
