Ferd Schwartz appeared to speak against the issuing of any more taxi licenses in Mound Scruton moved and Heikkila seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, that taxi cab licenses for two taxi cabs be granted to Darrell Messer and Timothy Myers for the year 196~. The vote was Heikkila, Scruton, Ofeifer and Johnson - Aye; Koehn - nay. Motion carried CIGARETTE LIC Robert Odhe apoeared and discussed the licenses Pfeifer moved and Scruton secopded a motion BE IT MOVED, the following cigarette licenses be ~rsnted: Mobile Car Wash, and Skelly Station for 106~. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. Note: The Counci]~ after much discussion decided that the further grmnting of cigare~te licenses for machines in filling stations would b e refused starting in 1966. CIGARETTE LICENSE - Mound Superette Scruton moved and Johnson seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, a cigarette license for the Mound Superette for 196~ be granted. was unaimousty in favor so carried. Mrs. Lovaasen appeared to protest her sewer assessment. The ~ounctl advised ~hem to see their own ~ttorney, and also advised Mr. Olson who is not an attorney to give them legal advice.
