BROOKTON PARK HEARING
The Engineer outlined the project
Jack Souls said he was spokesman for the Brookton Park Improvement in the absence to
Kenneth Plant, who had met with the council several times before in preliminary
plans prior to the hearing.
Speaking were:~ Wil~red Anderson, Norman Skaret, Robert Schlesinger, Gene Hodge, Cy
Huff, Kent Musser~ Max Miller~ Lynn Sorbo, Larry Babb~ Sievert Messer~ Jerome Hesse~
Keith Davis~ Gladys Olson. A hand vote showed about ½ of audience were for Park
Improvement and none for Drainage Improvement; no action could be taken as advertisement
did not include enough area to a fair assessment for Park Improvement. The hearing
was declared closed.
