HOUSE MOVING PERMIT
A large group of citizens appeared about the moving of a house ownered by Mr. Herbert
Flesher and now standing on a lot next to his own house to a lot in another block
nearby.
The inspector said the building and proposed plans for remodeling wo~ld met the code
of the village and thus he could see no reason the buildingshould not be moved under
our present code.
Speaking against moving the house were: Herman Kraft, Dave Willette, Everett Geyen,
Mrs. ~verett Geyen, Ben Shafer,
Brandenburg stated problems seem to arise with buildings being moved in our ordinance
seems to be lax
Scruton stated - no action until plans and specs are availabe, also performance bond
for houses moved into village for plan completion should be put into the ordinance,
study should be made by Planning Commission or Co~ncil Committee
Mayor asked Mr. Flesher if he would supply a performance bond - he was not too
enthusiastic but finally agreed
Matter was tabled until November 16, 1965
