MAYOR GORDON TULBERG MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT OF 0BJECTI~ES FOR THE COMING YEAR Top priority ~ud conti~uing emphasis wil~ be placed in the area of public relations for the council, th~]~administrative staff, and the image of the village as a whole. Two of the methods being considered are: The reque~ting of applications of interested citizens for present and future openings on advisory boards such as the ~lanning Commission and Library Board e A periodic newsletter to the residents to keep them informed on village affairs A concerted emphasis on village parks with the following goals: A thorough analysis of present facilities A comprehensive plan outlining the long term needs An operating plan assigning individual priorities to wisely invest the funds available each year. Establishment of an Advisory Park Commission to put the goals into action. Implementation mf the plans laid bo the previous council in regard to the cemetery, to the elimination of outdoor plumbing, and the House Number project. SEWER ASSESSMENT APPEALS * Mr Bargman and his neighbors The Mayor by executive order directed the Manager and the Attorney to investigate the error in rezoning that led to this assessment appeal.
