It was noted that the lease on the cafe has certain restrictions about the serving of beer. No one else aooeared for or aEainst. Pfeifer moved and Anderson seconded a motion BE IT MO'ED, the Village Council of the VillaEe of Mound grant an Off Sale 3.2 Beer License for the Lentsch's Cafe. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried and granted. TRANSPORTATION TO NATIONAL ~IRE SCHOOL Fire Chief, Russ Orn and Fireman Robert Cheney apoeared, to again ask for funds for transporation to the National Fire School in Memphis, Tenno Scruton moved and Anderson seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, the Village Council of the Village of Mound allow the expenditure of approximately $260.00 for transportation to the National Fire School The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. ENGINEER'S CONTRACT Regan moved and Tulberg seconded the following resolution WHERF~S, the comolete and final responsibility for the affairs of the Village of Mound rests with its elected respresentatives, the Council, AND ~4EREAS, the actual performance of the majority of the Village affairs must of necessity be delagated to the Administrative Staff, Advisors and Consultants, THEREFORE, it is essential that the council have comolete confidence in those who carry out its directives WTIEREAS, the degree of confidence required does not exist between the council and its engineering advisors, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the contract between the VillaEe of Mound and the firm of Schoell and Madsen is cancelled effective March 15, 1966 pursuant to its terms.
