RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID (Park Improvement 65-1 Brookton Park) AVON DRIVE & BAYPORT ROAD - Blacktopping The petition included over 55% of property owners. publication and mailing to be sufficient. RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS (Avon Drive and Bayport Road) (Streets 66-2) THREE POINTS PARK - Sanitary Building Several property owners adjacent to the park were present. They objtected to the present location of the sanitary building being built. Mr. Kopp reported the State Health Department had been consulted and they had no objection to having the building near the food stands and that the Village Building Code setbacks were the determining factor. The Building Inspector was instructed to take the "hold" off the building. PIPER ROAD No action. COUNCIL SALARY INCREASE Regan moved and Scruton seconded the motion: ORDINANCE NO. 210 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOUND CODE OF ORDINANCES, ESTABLISHING CHAPTER 5A THEREOF "VILLAGE COUNCIL OFFICERS" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA: 1. That the Mound Code of Ordinances be, and hereby is, amended by adding thereto the provisions of Chapter SA, entitled "Village Council Officers" and by adding thereto the provisions of Section 5.01 as follows: "Section 5.01 Village Council - Salaries. ~ The salary for the office of Mayor shall be $50.00 per month. The salary for Village Trustee shall be $10.00 per month.'! 2. That this ordinance be effective from and after its adoption and publication according to law. RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 66-174 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING SETTLEMENT OF SEWER CLAIM (Lot 9, Block 7 of Devon: Kantack) PRIVATE ROAD Mr. Kopp reported the attorney was checking this out. COMMITTEE REPORTS Mr. Tulberg reported he and Mr. Butler had attended the Spring Park Council meeting 8-1-66. MOLINE EASEMENT Scruton moved, Regan seconded a motion: RESOLUTION NO. 66-186 Roll Call Vote: Anderson Aye Regan Aye Scruton Aye Tulberg Aye So carried and resolved. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT PURCHASE (Sewer & Water- Lots 41 and 42, Phelps Island Park First Division) RATIFICATION OF BILLS (Vice President's Conference with City Managers) Regan moved, Scruton seconded a motion to pay the following bills where funds are available in accordance with motion made at July 12th meeting: Administration Fund sheraton Hotels Burlington Railroad $25.
