MINUTES
The Minutes of the January 3~ 1967 meeting were read and corrections made as to
the maker and seconder of various resolutions. Fenstad moved and Scruton seconded
a motion to accept the minutes of Jam~ary 3, 1967 as read and corrected. The vote
was unanimously in fsvor~ so carried and a~cepted.

Mueller and Sons incident was questioned. Anderson moved and Re.~an seconded a

LABOR MEETING - February 15, 1967
Problem was discussed, attorney pointed out that the representatives on each side
made recommendations and these were not binding on either body.
~e Mayor recommended the appointment of Trustee ¥filfred as the Council Representative
and Manager Leonard Kopp to meet with the Labor group.
Regan moved and Fenstad seconded the motion
BE IT MOVED, that Wilfred Anderson and Leonard Kopp be appointed by the Village
Council of the Village of Mound to meet with the State Labor Conciliator
representatives on February 15, 1967 to discuss differences in wage
offeres and demands.
The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried.

The Village Council of the Village of Mound does ordain as follows:
Section 31.08. DELIVERIES.
(a) For the purposes of this ordinance, delivery and ~ale
of intoxicating liquor shall be deemed to occur at the place at
which a purchaser accepts possession of the intoxicating liquor
from the seller thereof or from his agent or employee. If the
purchaser of intoxicating liquor permits the seller thereof or
any employee or agent o£ such seller to retain or reacquire
possession thereof, the place of delivery of possession and
sale for the purposes of this ordinance shall be deemed to
be the place at which possession of such intoxicating liquor
is thereafter redelivered to the purchaser.
(b) Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or possession'
thereof delivered within this Willage, or caused to be thus
sold or possession thereof delivered, by any person, by any
municipal liquor store, or by any agent or employee of such
person or store, except on premises in the Village of Mound
occupied by the Mound municipal liquor stores.
(c) Section 2 hereof shall not apply to deliveries of in-
toxicating liquor by wholesale liquor dealers, warehousemen
or breweries to the municipal liquor stores in the Village of
Mound or to deliveries by said municipal liquor stores to a
wholesale liquor dealer, or to deliveries to any club
holding a liquor license issued by the village council.
(d) Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall, upon conviction therefor, be punished by a
fine of not more than $100 or by imprisonment for not more

publication according to law.

discuss ~th the council the over-charge due to the use of the word ton when yard
was to be applied.
The Village Attorney stated the village has a legitimate contract with ~eller & Sons
Inc. and could be enforced until such time as the vil!age would readvertise for gravel
and. award a contract to ~nother bidder. The only relief the village could offer
legally would be to concel the existing contract and re-~dvertise for gravel. The
athorney v~!l arrange to settle the existing contract before the c~ncella~ion is
effected.
