HEARINGS
The following hearings were continued to January 9, 1968:
1. Rezoning Block 9, Avalon
2. Vacating Glamorgan Road
HEARING - VACATIO~i,I OF CERTAIN STRE~S IN HIGHLAND SHORES
Reickenbach and Mauritsen spoke opposing the vacation.
~Muritsen said the Village was giving away land that was valuable. The %ttorney
explained that the land did not belong to the Village but was used by the
Village for streets, and if it was no longer need for street p~rposes, it
could be given to the property owner abutting the street.

IN THE HIGHLANDS AND HIGHLAND SNORES
COMMITTEE REPORTS
1. M~nnetonka Conservation District. Reoorted by Stanard who brought the
minutes of the organizational meeting. At the organizational meeting Mr.
Stanard was appointed to the steering committee. Meetings will be held
the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Excelsior Village Hall.
2. Lake Minnetonka Municipalities. Reported by Scr~ton.
Housing and Redevelopment. Anderson reported that all organizational
material for Mound had been signed and sent to Chicago.
4. Hennepin County League. Mr. Tulberg and Mr. Fenstad reported.
HEARING - EVERGRE~',[ ROAD i~ND AUD. SUB ?"~170 ALLEY WATER
Mr. Fredrickson pre~'ented the project. He explained that though 10" pipe
would be used, the property owners adjacent would be charged for 6" pipe
at estimated cost of $5.15 a front foot.
Mrs. Edward Mitchell appeared opposing.
