secomded a motion to acceDt the minutes of the June 11, 1968 meeting as read,
the vote w~s unanimously in favor, so carried ~nd accepted.

Regan move5 and and Swenson seconded a motion.
BE IT MOVED~ the matter of the American Legion C!ub license be removed from the
table. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried.
Schmidt moved and Reran seconded a motion
BE IT MOVED, by the Vii!age Council of the Vi!!a~e of Mound, that the Club
License be granted to the American Legion Club for the fiscal year
1968-1969

1. That Chapter ~3 of the Mound Code of Ordinances, entitled
"Zoning", be and hereby is, amended to reducing the Residential Use District
A-l, as established by Section ~oOl! and by reducing the Residential Use
District A-~, as established by °ection 23.012, by removing therefrom the
following described tracts, and by increasing the Commercial Use District
as established in Section ~3.07 by adding thereto the following described
tracts:
Lots 12~ 13 and th Koehler's Addition to Mound
and
Lot 1~ Koehters Addition to Mound
2. That this Ordinance be effective from and after its adoption
publication according to law.

Section 23.30," Subdivision 1, Subsection (i) is hereby added to the
code of ordinances and shall read as follow,rs:
(i) Ail off-street ~arking requirements established in the aforestated
subsections (b) through (h) shall not be less than nine (9) feet wide and twenty (20)
feet in length exclusive of access drives, and each space shall be served adequately
by access drives. Ail off-street parking shall be imoroved with concrete or
bituminous surfacing at least 1~ inches in thickness:to control dust and drainage.
Each space shall have"adequate markings painted on the surface to designate the
individual space and. sbal! have bumper curbs at least three (3) feet from any
interior property line or a guard of normal bumper height not less than one (1) foot
from such mroperty line. Ail requirements of th~s section of the ordinance shall
be comolet~d before the Building Inspector issues an Occupancy Permit. If it is
impossible to construct or improve the oarking facilities because of weather
conditions. The o;mer may oosta surety bond with the Village Manager guaranteeing
the corstruction of said facilities. Said bond shall be in an amount estimated
bv the Building Inspector or the Village Engineer as sufficient'to complete the
r~quired construction and in no event shall be less than 2~.00 oer required stall.

If such'a permit were to be ¢ranted a public hearing would be held on July 23rd~

and Chapter 20.10 "Municipal Sanitary Sewer" of the
Mound Code of ordinance Providing A Penalty For Late
Payment For Water And Sewer Charges.
The Village Council of the Village of Mound ordain~
Section 6.44 is amended to read as follows:
Delinquent Accounts,'Penalty, Assessment
'A ten percent (10%) penalty will be added to
water bills not paid within 30 days after
the date of billing. On or before September
1st of each year, the water superintendent
shall have listed and transmitted to the council
the total unpaid charges for water service
against each separate lot or parcel to which
such is attributable. The council may then
spread the unpaid charges against the
property served to the County Auditor for .
collection as other taxes are collected
under MinneSota Statute Section 444.075.
Section 20.10 Section B is amended to read as
follows:
B. Statements for sewer rental charges for
the preceding quarterly period shall be
mailed to each customer at such dates as
prescribed by the Village Council. A ten
percent (10%) penalty will be added to any
sewer rental.charges not paid within 30'
days after the date of billing. -
