Present: Mayor Fenstad, Councilmen Regan, Schmidt, Swenson and Andreasen,
Attorney Pearson and Village Manager Kopp
The minutes of the August 15, 1968 meeting were read. Schmidt moved and
Swenson seconded a motion to accept the minutes as read. The vote was unani-
mously in favor, so carried and accepted.
The minutes of the August 20, 1968 meeting were read. Regan moved and
Andreasen seconded a motion to accept the minutes as read. The vote was
unanimously in favor, so carried and accepted.
DILAPIDATED BUILDINGS HEARING
There was no quorm at the meeting to be held on August 27; therefore no
meeting was held.
Mr. Kopp explained that because the owners of many of these pieces of prop-
erty were out of state, no prosecuting charges could successfully be made
against them.
Regan moved the following motion and Schmidt seconded the motion.

Andreasen moved a resolution relating to the extension of the completion date
of the contract with Suburban Paving. Regan seconded, and the vote was all in
favor. Andreasen moved and Regan seconded to reconsider the prior motion. The
vote was all in favor, at which point Councilman Andreasen withdrew his first
motion and Regan with his second to the motion.

MENTAL HEALTH FACILITIES IN
WESTERN HENNEPIN COUNTY
LAKE CONSERVATION DISTRICT
Mr. Kopp was in receipt of a letter from the Lake Conservation District asking
for opinions as to what would be the most desirable action to take to achieve
a satisfactory solution to the "sewer" problem. It was the consensus of the
Council tha~ things should be left as is, allowing each village to adopt a
solution to the problem that will be to the greater good of all communities on
the lake.
