1969-05-13MINUTES OF THE MAY 13, I969 MEETING - Island Park Hall - Mound, Minnesota Village Council Presentwere: Orval Fenstad, Mayor; Councilmen, John Andreasen, Gordon Swenson, Eldo Schmidt, CHarles Peterson, Attorney Curtis Pearson, Manager Leonard Kopp and Engineers k~lliam T. Mills The Minutes of t~e April 22, 1969 meeting were read. Swenson moved and Peterson seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the April 22, 1969 meeting as read. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried and ap0roved. LORRAINE JACKBON DRAINAGE PROBLEM Mrs. Jackson appeared and the engineer proposed that a berm or curb be installed to control the drainage~ such program could last about five years. Andreasen moved and Swenson seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that a bituminous curb or berm be placed by handwork from Pecan Lane to Chateau Lane to control the drainage from Edgewater Blvd; and that the s be placed in her driveway to help build it up. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. MRS JULIUS ANDERSON PROBLEM The matter of the dispute between Suburban Paving and Mrs Julius Anderson is just that and the mayor directed the attorney to write to Mrs. Anderson and so state that her problem doesn'b involve the Village of Mound and that the village can not legally take any action. PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS Lot 17, Block 6 The Highlans, request to install sewer line across neighbor's Property.
