Swenson; Attorney Curtis Pearson and Msnager Leonard L. Kopp. HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY Ray Koehn, chairman of the Mound Housing Authority appeared along with the project architect, Gary MacKenzie and asked for variances. A model of the proposed building was exhibited and the archtitect answered questions from the audience and the council. CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT PARKING PROJECT Wm T. Mills, engineer presented the preliminary report for phases A, B, C, D, E and F. Areas B and E are under immediate consideration.. Speaking were Jerry Longpre, Ray Dick, Frank Livingston, Bob Walker, Pete Sorenson, Harold Kutzner, Jim Regan, John Roasch, Bob Matison, Paul Gallick, Bob Mitchell, Bob Johnson, Dick Diericks, Lou Oberdeck, Dr. Kenneth Romness, Francis Broich, Charles Hartman, Ray Pierce, some were questions and some just comments both pro and con. May 12, NEXT MEETING - April 28, 1970 Fenstad moved and Andreason seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Millage of Mound that the next Cou~oil meeting be held on Tuesday, April 28, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. at the Island Park Hall.. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried~ STREET SWEEPER BIDS Mr Riley of Hall Equipment, Howie Bowen of Hayden Murphy and Frank Dougherty of the American Hoist and Derrick, a representative from McQueen Equipment, and Marty Martin of Zeco Company each spoke in favor of their equipment and gave out literature on their machines. It was informally arranged for each of the four wheeled equipment to bring out a sweeper and demonstrate in Mound, The bids would be considered on April 28th, 1970. BIKE HIKE PATH Wm T. Mills, outlined the proposed project, the path to be on the south side only where not proposed in the up-grading of Shoreline Blvd, a separate pr9ject. Swenson moved and Andreasen seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, by The Village Council of the Village of Mound that the matter of the Bike/Hike path be deferred until the meeting of April 28, 1970, The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. CHARLES HARTMAN ABATEMENT APPEAL Engineer Mills, outlined the route and area of the Water Mains around his property. Leonard Kopp presented a resrched file on the process of the assessment and actions of the councils and complintsfiled by Mr. Hartman and his wife. Fenstad moved and Swenson seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that the matter of Assessment abatement be deferred until the meeting of April 28, 1970. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried.
