Kopp PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL HEARING A1 Quist and his attorney, Roger Reed appeared. The Mayor said the required set back of 30 feet was too much, and even 15 feet would be excessive.. Richard Gelhaye asked the council to deny the special use permit at this time.~ Dorothy le Fave and Mary DeVonney expressed doubts about the Chester Park Beach if this were granted. Beth Hiller was opposed to permit. Bud Skoglund thought the boat traffic and the traffic to the swimming beach would be at such different times as not in interferwith each other. PARKING ORDINANCE Andreasen moved and Swanson seconded a motion for Ordinance 268 ORDINAN'O NO. 268 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 46.29 iOF ~HE VILLAGE CODE PROVIDING FOR NO PARKING ZONES, LIMITED PAREING ZONE3, AND PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS The Village Council of the Village of Mound do ordain: Section ~6.29 of the Village Code is amended to read as follows: Subd. 1. Designation of No Parking Zones and Limited Parking Zones. The Council may from time to time by ordinance adopted by a majority vote designate certain streets, or portions thereof, as "No Parking" zones, or as "Limited Parking" zones, and direct the Street Commissioner or the Chief of Police to accordingly place proper signs thereon and/or appropriately paint the curbs thereby to indicate their character. Subd. 2. The following designated streets and locations shall prohibit parking at any time: 1. Both sides of Edgewater Drive from Fairview Lane to Northern Road. 2. Section 471.62, the Village ~ Council does hereby adopt by reference the Minnesota Plumbing Code filed with the Secretary of State and the Department of Administration in June, 1969, of which at least three copies of said Code, marked "Official Copies" shall be on file in '~ the office of the Village Clerk. The aforementioned Code as promulgated by the State Department of Health shall be the minimum standard and requirement for plumbing in the Village and shall apply to all the plumbing within all buildings and to a point five (5) feet outside of.the interior surface of the foundation wall. Ail dogs licensed here- under must have a current rabies vaccination and the 'da't'e of sa'id 'vaccination 'shall b'e state'd On the appl ica't ion ."' Section 39.08 of the Village Code is amended to read as follows: Section 39.0~ Penalty for Late Application All license applications are to be com'pleted on or b~e'£ore April 1 of each year. Applications received by the village clerk between April 1 and April 30th' shall be issued without a penalty. Applications re- ceived by the Village between May 1 and May 10th, inclusive shall require a late applicati~r~ ~ee of 505 ~o be added to the annual license fee. Applicatio~ recexved a~ter ~ay 10th shall require a late application fee $~..JO to be added to the annual license fee.
