Woodland Point RESOLVTION ~IVING REQUIREMEW~!~ OF CiQAPTER 2~ OF THE VILI~GE CODE R~ARDING THE DI¥[SION OF PROPERTY Minimum Front Yard Set-Back - Village Code Sections 9_3.31and 23.32 Side Yard Requirements Swenson moved and Peterson seco~ded a motion BE IT MOVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that Section b. be deleted from Sect!on 23.31 of the Villa?e Code and replaced by the following: "The minimum front yard setback shall be 50 feet in the residential and multiple residential districts. In any such district where the average depth of at least two existing front yards or buildings within 150 'feet of the lotin question and within th$ same block and where the front yard is lesser or greater than the 50 feet minimum front yard depth required, the required front yard shall not be less than the average depth of such existing front yards; however, the depth of the front yard shall not be less than l0 ft, and not required to exceed 50 feet. (Sec. 2~.31) and also: "SECTION 23.52 Side Yard Requirements a. In the Residential Use District A-l, there shall be a side yard on each side of a dwelling, a width of not less than ten feet or ten percent of the lot width, whichever dimension is greater; EXCEPT pla~ted lots existing on or before the date hereof, and having a width of 80 ft. or less, the side yard on e~ch side of a buildir~ may be reduced to a width of not less than eigh~ f~et." and the attorney be directed to prepare such amen ~n~snt to the ordinance. The vote was unanimoosly in favor, so carried. Guest Houses - non-conforming use under section 23.21 Peterson moved and Swenson seconded a motion BE IT MOVED~ by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that the Planning Commission recommendation for Section 23.21 of the Village Code be returned to the Planning Commission for further study.
