Addition)
The builder, Ernest M Johnson spoke of the project and briefly outlined the type of
house to be built.
Speaking against the replatting:
Doug Mohn, 2135 Cedar Lane
~ Bud Stannard, 2135 Overland Lane
James Suhon, 2160 Cedar Lane
Kathy Marschke, 2207 Noble Lane
Ron Gazette, 29~1 Noble Lane
Elaine Borg of the Human Rights Commission stated that the type of housing financing
(235) was the issue of the petition not replatting of lots.
Mrs Warren Anderson, wife of the real estate agent, spoke of all the hard work her
husband had put into the project and felt the criticism was unfair, she stated in
answer to a question that she lived in Hardscrabble Point.
Attorney Oberhouser stated that 300'?~ units were to be built and 90% of them were
scheduled for Mound, because of the small lets and the availabilty of sewer and water.
The mayor stated that the issue at hand was replatting of lots, which could be done
by this simple method or done by the more expensive method of filing a plat which
would add to the cost to the buyer, not the type of financing of houses built on
these lots, or the people who buy them and the number of children they have or the
additions to the school population. The council expressed the same sentiments.
Peterson moved and Andreasen seconded the motion
