he took his seat at the council table and assumed his new duties.
HEARING ON RIDGEWOOD ROAD
Engineer William Mills outlined the proposed project and gave costs in his preliminary
report.
Donald Taylor as spokesman of the neighborhood affected spoke against the project
and asked to have Ridgewood Road removed from the list of Municipal State Aid Roads..
Speaking against it were Jim Johnson and Otto Sevic and Ray Cox. No one spoke in
favor of the project.

ORDINANCE NO. 282
AN ORDINANCE AMF~NDING THE PLATTING CODE,
SEC. 22.40, SUBD. e, AND ADDING SUBDIVISIONS
f, g AND h TO SAID SECTION OF THE PLATTING
CODE AND ESTABLISHING FEES ~OR WAIVRRS,'
VARIANCES, STREET VACATIONS, LOT DIVISIONS,
OR SUB~EVISIONS
The Village Council of the Village of Mound do ordain:
Sec. 22.40, Subd. e, is amended to read as follows:
e. And in any event, a certified check, drawn on .an approved bank
and available to the Village and adequate to defray the cost of
employment and retainer of qualified persons to check and verify
the proposed plat and to determine its suitability from the stand-
point of community planning in the amount of $75.00 for each new
subdivision plus $5.00 per lot for each parcel contained therein in
excess of 10 lots with a maximum fee of $125.00.

Sec. 22.40, Subd. f is hereby added to the Village Code and shall
read as follows:
f. Ail applications for waivers or variances of the platting code shall
be accompanied by a fee of $15.00.
J Sec. 22.40, Subd. g,~ is hereby added to the Village Code and shall
read as follows:
g. ApOlications for waivers of lot divisions without going through
the subdivision proces2 shall be accompanied by a minimum fee of
$15.00 olus $5.00 for each lot in excess of two lots being either
divided or combined with a maximum fee Oaysble on such divisions
or consolidations not to exceed $50.00.
Sec. 22.40, Subd. h is hereby added to the Village Code and shall'
read as follows:
h. All ~polications for vacations of streets or alleys within the
ViLlage shall be accompanied by a filing fee of $50.00.
