"He asked the Council for a restatement of Mound's position relative to dredging these lots and a letter to the State Conservation, Lake Minnetonka Conservation and Minnehaha Watershed. To supplement the Uniform Building Code, all construction of side walls above ground level shall have insulation which is three (3) inches or an approved equivalent thereof in thioknees$ ceilings beneath the roof shall have insulation which is six (6) inches or an approved equivalent thereof in thickness. Section 26.02 (d) is amended to read as follows: Trusses. R~f~ers on 24-inch center consisting of approved trusses are permitted. The maximum span thereof for bo~h upper and lower segments must not exceed those permittedby the tables of the Building Code for a 40-pound live load for roofs and a 20-pound live load for ceiling. Roof sheathing on trusses must be 1/2 inch, or more, plywood for roof slopes 4 feet in 12 feet and greater and 5/8 inch or more plywoodis required for roof slope of less than 4 feet in 12 feet. All end sup- ports of plywood must be supported with blocking designed for this~ purpose. One-half inch sheet rock may be applied if fire rating is not required provided wood blocking or glued sheetrock backing is used. Section 26.06, Subsection (b) is amended to read as follows= Plat Plan. Each application for a building permit shall alsq be accompanied by a survey by a registered surveyor or civil engineer and a plat plan of the premises, drawn to scale, showing'the location and actual dimensions and extent of land or lot upon which it is pro- posed to construct, alter, or place a building or structure, the loca- tion of corner and angle posts or stakes, the proposed location of the proposed building or structure, or proposed alterations or additions to existing buildings or structures upon the same premises, buildings on adjacent permises, the extent and location of open spaces and yards required by the ordinance, the location or proposed location of any wells, sewer lines, cesspools, septic tanks, water lines or other facilities in existence or designed to serve the uses located or to be located upon such premises and in the case of.lands or lots having a surface gradient of more than 5 feet in 100 feet over the proposed locat±on of the proposed building, such topographical information as may be required to determine the location and relative .elevation of a proposed building or structure, and such other information as the Building Inspector or Village Council may require. The location of wells, sewer and water lines, cesspools, septic tanks and such_other appurtenances proposed to be placed on the premises shall be subject tO the approval of the Building Inspector. The Village COuncil may by resolution waive the requirement for a survey if there are special. circumstances or conditions so that the strict application of the provisions of this subsection are not necessary to preserve the public- health, safety, and general welfare. The Council shall make a finding that the waiver of the survey requirement will not be detrimental~to*~ the public welfare. The application for the variance shall be in- writing and may he'processed by the Village Council without i~ooessifng said variance in accordance with the terms of Section 26.995 of this Code. 175 STREET NAME - Westwood Circle in Westwood Addition Andreasen moved and Swenson seconded a motion RESOLUTION NO.
