MINUTES OF THE MOUND COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 11, 1972 at the SHIRLEY HILLS SCHOOL
MOUND, MINNESOTA at 8:00 P.M.
Roll Call was taken, present were:' Mayor John D. Kotula, Councilmen John Andreasen,
Eldo Schmidt, Donald Ulrick and Gordon Swenson; also present were Village Manager
Leonard Kopp and Attorney Curtis Pearson~

Kotula moved and Andreasen seconded a motion
BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council that the minutes of the January 4, 1972 meeting
bs accepted as submitted.
The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried..
RESOUJTIONS PASSED WITH UNANIMOUS VOTE OF THE COUNCIL
Kotula moved and Andreasen seconded a motion
BE IT MOVED, by the Village CounCil of the Village of Mound that all resolutions
passed byunanimous vote of the council, taken by roll call, shall be
recorded as '*Passed unanimously' and the usual roll call need not be
recorded unless an abstention or a nay vote is received; such resolutions
shall be noted with an asterisk and noted at the end of the minutes.
The vote was unanimously in favor.
NOTE: All meetings are to be taped.
Clerk will call the roll.
PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMEDATIONS
Kermit C. Knudson was present.
Residents within 300 feet are to be notified, as well as Minnetrista residents so
affected, the Minnestrista council and Planning Commission. The Manager was directed
to have the attorney look into the status of the property north of the proposed
business and ascertain as to whether a special use permit is in existence.

Ed Johnson was allowed ten minutes to discuss the 1972 levy.
ADDITIONAL BILL
Swenson moved and Schmidt seconded a motion to pay the bill of Illies and Son from
Bond and Interest Central District Parking for $580.00; the vote was unanimously
in favor, so carried..
Swenson moved and Andreasen seconded a motion to adjourn until the meeting of January
25, 1972 at Shirley Hills School at 8:00 P.M. The vote was unanimously in favor, so
carried and adjourned.
