1972-04-25MINUTES OY THE COUNCIL ~ETING OF APRIL 2~ 1972 AT THE SHIRLEY HILLS SCHOOL MOUND, MIN~ESOTA The mayor called the msetin~ to order The clerk called the roll. Present were: Mayor John D. Kotula, Councilmen John Andreasen, Eldo Schmidt~ Donald Ulrick and Gor~on Swenson and Villaqe Manager Leonard Kopp and Attorney Curtis Pearson. HEARING FOR SPECIAL USE P~IRM!T - Babler's Body Shop David Babler was present, The mayor read the restrictions placed on the proposed permit. Vincent Johnson spoke against the proposed permit feeling that the proposed use would stop the development of the %acant property and down grade property values in the neighborhood. No one else wished to speak for or against the special use permit. The council offered three additional stipulations. Ulrick moved and Andreasen seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that the following stipulations be added to the orginal list of eight 9. Pollution Control Agency's noise and order regulations be complied with. !0. Adequate light to provide protection to storage area but not to distrub the neighborhood 11.. Work shall only be performed between the hours of ?:30 A.M. and !0:00 P.M. The vote was unanimoosly in favor so carried. Andreasen moved and Ulrick seconded the motion RESOLUTION 72-100 RE$OL~T!ON GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR AUTO oDDY REPAIR SHOP (Plat 61990, Parcel 1~2~) Passed unanimously MINUTES - April 11, 1972 Andreasen moved and Swenson seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the April ll, 1972 meeting as presented.. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried, and accepted. HIDOENVALE LANE PETITION A petition was presented at the meeting asking no further improvements that would result in assessments on the property owners. Mr and Mrs Donald Sather and Frank Livingston were heard. No action was +aken as this area has no present project in progress. Andreasen stated that the purchase of property on Hiddenvale was made in order to widen the road at sometime in the future.
