PUBLIC PARKS
The Village of Mound does ordain:
1. Section 55.56 is hereby added to the Village Code and
shall read as follows:
SECTION 55.56. Park Rules and Regulations.
Subd. a.) To protect the peace and quiet of persons
residing near public parks and to protect public property
from vandalism, all public parks shall be closed to public
use from 12:00 o'clock midnight until 5:00 o'clock a.m.
each day. Public parks shall be open for public use from
5:00 o'clock a.m. until 11:59 o'clock p.m. of each day.
Subd. b.) No person, except authorized Village
employees~ shall drive or operate a motor vehicle as
defined by Minnesota Statutes 171.03, Subd. 3 in any public
park except on roads or designated parking areas or such
other areas as the Village Manager shall designate.
2. Ail ordinances inconsistent wiuh the provisions of this
ordinance are hereby repealed, except the provisions of Section 54.37
which are hereby ratified and shall remain in full force and effect.

suburban areas, such Com~rissions made up of youth from 16 to 9_0 years of a~e. Hasse
and one other member of the Park Commission were amnointed to work with Mr. Phi!brook
