1972-08-08lO5 MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING ~OF .AUGUST 8, 1972 at 8:00 P.M. at the SHIRLEY HI~.LS S~HOOL The Mayor called the meetin9 to order. The clerk called the roll, present were: Councilmen John Andreasen, Eldo Schmidt, Donald Ulrick and Gordon Swanson; Mayor John D. Kotula; also present were Village Manager Leonard L. Kopp, Attorney Curtis Pearson and Engineer Keith Englesby. MINUTES The minutes of the July 25, 1972 meetin9 were presented. Schmidt moved and Ulrick seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the July 2~, 1972 as presented. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried and accepted. Passed unanimously CURB ANI]GUTTERREQUI]IEMENTS discussed to be incorporated into sub-division ordinance. THREE POINTS PARK Williard Hillier and Vern Diethelm were present and spoke about the proposed black top area at the Three Points Park Andreasen moved and Ulrick seconded s motion RESOLUTION 72-201 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE BLACKTOPPING IN THE THREE POINTS PARK AND ACCEPTINO THE LOW BID FROM MARTIN Passed unanimously AND SONS' BLACTOPPING - $1,~72.2~ 106 TRAFFIC REGULATORY SIGNS - discussed for Fernside and Seahorse Complex; Chief of Police recommended no signs at either location - The Village manager recommended the signs at the Scsh6rse. No action was taken on the Fernside request. Swenson moved and Ulrick seconded a motion that the followin9 bills with the exception of the Lake Mtka. Conservation District bill for $1,050.00 be paid where funds are available. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried.
