Present were: Mayor John D. Kotula, Councilmen Eldo Schmidt, John Andreasen, Donald
Ulrick and Gordon Swenson; Village Manager Leonard Yopp~ AttorneyDenniS.O'Brien and
Engineer Keith Englesby.
MINUTES
Swenson moved and Andreasen seconded a motion to table the minutes of October 10, 1972.
The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried.
PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS
Townhouses - Beachside Developers
Appealing the denial of the Planning Commission. The council referred this matter
back to the planning commission to check our ordinance requirements with those of
other municipalities. A Special Use Permit is required to build any type of town-
house - no action possible at this time.
HARDSHIP CLAUSE - Section 23.3~ Subdivision 2 of the Mound Code of Ordinances

Note: Jerry Longpre presented the Mayor with king size tee white and blue tie - that
carried the slogan - "Get Out the Vote" as a gesture to encourage citizens to
get out and vote on November 7th.

Ray Pierce ask about use the council plans for the ¥111age of Mound share of the
Revenue Sharing - answer do not know what they can do with it as yet.
Jeanette Gellman ask about the proposed location of the proposed new village hall -
answer west of fire station
Robert Shanley ask for $7.~0 per council meeting for the Police Reserve - answer go
through the Police Chief for the recommendation to the manager and the council.
METRO SEWER CONNECTION CHARGE - 1973 - discussed
FRIDAY NIGHT OFFICE OPEN UNTIL TO 8 P.M.
