MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF REVZEW WITH THE MOUND COUNCIL SITTING AS BOARD MEMBERS
AT SHIRLEY HILLS SCHOOL 7:30 P.M. JUNE 5, 1973 - MOUND, ~OTA
Present were: Actin§ Mayor John Andreasen; Councilmen Orval Fenstad, Donald Ulrick
and Gordon Swenson; Villa§e Mans§er Leonard Kopp and Hennepin County Assessors,
Milt Hilt and Harry Jensen.
Milt Hilt explained the change due to action of the Minnesota Legislature changin§
the Real Estate assessment from the even year to the odd year, and also allowed the
assessors to take the 1972 assessment and add ~% for the 1973 assessment; also the
Le§islature passed a law concernin§ Senior Citizens which will be handled through '
the tax department in the form of refund and will freeze the taxes for the Senior
Citizens at 1972 level~ 1973 Real Property Assessment Valuation Notices were sent
out before this law was passed., Thmene~ law w~ll~applyltOeth~a~.assessment.
The 1973 assessment was made on land only plus improvements and new construction.

of the assessment notice or having questions, the Mayor will callthhe nm~bersii, n
