Kotula; Councilmen John Andrcasen, Orval Fenstad, Donald Ulriok and Gordon Swenson; Engineer Keith Englesby, Attorney Ctwtis Pearson and Manager Leonard Kopp. The Minutes of the meeting of August 14, 1973 were presented for consideration. 'Coz~.ections were made on Resoluions 73-2398 by the addition to the title of "Set back of six feet from Woodland Road and 2 feet from Commons required~ deck to be in line with main house structure and not to extend beyond this or under the eaMes and no enclosures to be allowed on the deck~ only a railin§." 73-250 add the date of the hearing to the title '~epteaber 11, 1973" and on 73-254 add the names of the officers to be included in PFRA '~ouglas Cressy~ Thomas Homan, Milton Hentges, Ross Bunn, ~illiam R otb and Vcrnone Crane" to the title. Also corrected on the motion on Page 119 on the tabling of Kells Road, the date was deleted from the motion. Fenstad moved and Ulrick seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the August 24, 1973 meetin§ as corrected. The vote was unanimously in favor. FIRE SIREN Andreasen moved and Fenstsd seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, by the Villa9e Council of the Village of Mound that the matter of the Fire Siren be tabled. The vote was unanimously in favor. LAGOONPARK l~r Clifford and his attorney~ Richard Hassel were present. Swenson moved and Andreasen seconded a motion BE IT MOVEI]~ by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that the matter of Lagoon Park be postponed until the mceti~ of September 11~ 1973. The vote was unanimously in favor. FIRE SIREN Andreasen moved and Fenstad seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Villa9e of Mound that the matter of the Fi~e S[~enb¢ remo,~ed fram the table and placed back on the agenda for consideration. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. FIRE SIREN George Shepherd spoke for his neighbors, protesting the installation of a fire siren in their residential neighborhood, also fire trucks using Lakewood Lane on the way to and fram fires and also the firemen using Lakewood Lane to get to the fire at an excessive rate of speed. He stated that now that they would be plagued with the traffic for the new village office and the police sirens and to have the fire siren as well would be too much. Mrs Scott said they had signed a restriction release and received a dollar for the service back whenMr Bronson wanted to sell some of his property. BIKE HIKE PROJECT Falcon Peving Corp PARK FUND 4,537.80 Terry Geffre 24.50 4,562.30 C~SALELIQUOR LICENSE FEE PAYMENTS Ulrick moved and Andreasen seconded a motion for the followin9 ordinance ORDINANCE NO. 511 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.50 SUBDIVISION 8, SUBSECTION 2 OF THE VILLAGE CODE, PROVIDING FOR SEMI- AI~UAL PAYI~E~TS OF ON-SALE LICENSE FEES The Village Council of the Village of Mound does ordains Section 11.50, Subdivision 8, Subsection 2 of the Village Code is ==ended to read as follows~ (2) One-half of the annual license fee shall be paid when the application is filed and the remaining balance shall be paid before the license is issued. Ail fees shall be pai~ into the general fund of the village. Upon rejection or withdrawal of any application for a license, the license fee shall be refunded to the applicant except where rejection or withdrawal is for a willful misstatement in the license application. 128 The entire annual on-sale license fee must be paid for the first year's operation of a licensed establishment. In renewing the license, the council may allow the on- sale licensee to pay the fee in two installments, with one-half due on or before June ~Oth and the balance due on or before December ~lst.
