Curfew is a club to use on kids who are goofing off.
Changes are as recommended by the Youth Commission
Law is not a tool to keep society bound, could be a method.
If present ordinance is adequate why change?
What changes do you want?

1:30 too late for over 15 and 11:00 too late for under 15.
Curfew is for minorities, no problems with present ordinance. 150
warnings show ordinance is workin9
The new ordinance would mean more police and would create problems
for the Police department
Curfew is for the safety of the young people, loitering should be a
separate ordinance. Crimes should be punished as crimes not as
violations of the curfew ordinance. 10 P.M. curfew is absurd.
Kotula ended the discussion at this point that no progress is being made.
