Present were: Mayor Donald Ulrick, Councilmen Orval Fenstgd, Frank Philbrook, Tim
Lovaasen and Gordon Swenson; and City Manager Leonard L. Kopp.
GARY PHLEGER was present and gave a report on his 1975 Court fees, appearances
and the charges.
FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF BOARD
A large delegation was present from the Fire Department asking for an increase in the
1976 budget on Fire Relief to $27,200.00 in view of the new actuary report.
Fenstad moved and Ulrick seconded a motion
RESOLUTION 76-56
The vote was unanimously in favor
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLAN NUMBER #3
ATERNATIVE PLAN AS OF 2-1-1976 AND
INCREASING THE FIRE RELIEF BUDGET TO
$27,200.00 PROVIDING REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE.
TAXI LICENSE
Swenson moved and Lovaasen seconded a motion
RESOLUTION 76- 57
RESOLUTION GRANTING A TAXI LICENSE TO
MINNETONKA TAXI FOR 1976
The vote was unanimously in favor.
DOCK INSPECTOR
Gary Glasgow appeared before the council and requested an increase in salary of $3,000
if this sum could be obtained through a Federal Grant to Civil Defense activity fund.
Fenstad moved and Swenson seconded a motion to give the Dock Inspector to make
application for for funds for civil defense and if and when these funds are received
he will be awarded the salary increase requested, .
The vote was unanimously in favor.
FLOOD INSURANCE MAP
Ulrick moved and Fenstad seconded a motion to direct the City Manager to make objections
to the Flood Insrrance Map.
The vote was unanimously in favor
TUXEDO BLVD II
Lyle Swanson presented his report and illustrated the report with projected maps showing
needs and hazards of the project.
Fenstad moved and Swenson seconded a motion
RESOLUTION 76-58
The vote was unanimously in favor
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND SETTING
PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT - Tuxedo
Blvd. MSA Street,iml~revernent, sidewalk on north side
and necessary storm sewer, curb and gutter and the
use of mountable curbs - April, 6, 1976, Shirley Hills
School.
