MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 16, 2003
The City Council and Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Mound,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, met in special session on Tuesday, September 16, 2003,
at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of city hall.
Members Present: Mayor (Chair) Pat Meisel; Councilmembers (Commissioners) Bob
Brown, Mark Hanus, David Osmek and Peter Meyer.
Others Present: City Manager Kandis Hanson, Community Development Director
Sarah Smith, Jim Prosser of Ehlers & Associates.
1. OPEN MEETING
Mayor Meisel opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
2. DISCUSSION ON MOUND HARBOR RENAISSANCE DEVELOPMENT GAP
FINANCING AND OTHER RELATED POINTS
Mayor Meisel turned the meeting over the Acting Mayor Hanus at this point because
she and her husband own property in the proposed redevelopment district.
Jim Prosser reviewed the redevelopment strategies, along with the history of Mound
Visions.
The list of proposed options for gap financing was reviewed with no action taken.
Mayor Meisel returned to preside over the balance of the meeting.
3. ADJOURN
MOTION by Osmek, seconded by Brown to adjourn at 8:40 p.m. All voted in favor.
