SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE
CITY COUNCIL
December 6, 1978
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Mound, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 5341Maywood Road
in said City on December 6, 1978 at 7:00 p.m.
Those present were Mayor Tim Lovaasen, Councilmembers Gordon Swenson, Benjamin
Withhart and Orval Fenstad. Absent and excused was Councilmember Robert Polston.
Also present were City Manager Leonard L. Kopp, City Engineer William McCombs
and City Clerk Mary H. Marske.
PUBLIC HEARING - 1979 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The City Clerk presented an affidavit of publication in the official newspaper
of the notice of public hearing on said 1979 Street Improvement Project. Said
affidavit was then exmained, approved and ordered filed in the office of the
City Clerk.
City Engineer William McCombs briefly explained the scope of the project and
the assessment formula.
The Mayor then opened the public hearing for input on said 1979 Street Improvement
Project and persons present to do so were afforded and opportunity to express
their views thereon. The following person offered comments or questions:

Withhart moved and Swenson seconded a motion
RESOLUTION 78-568 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORTS
AND ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF THE 1979 STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
Roll call vote was unanimously in favor with Councilmember Polston
absent.
POLICE COMMISSION M~EETING
She Mayor announced that a meeting of the Police Commission will be held
at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 1978.
ADJOURNMENT
Swenson moved and Fenstad seconded a motion to adjourn to the next regular
meeting on December 12, 1978 at 7:30 p.m. The vote was unanimously in favor,
so adjourned.
