1980-08-26102 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL August 26, 1980 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Mound, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 5341Maywood Road in said City on August 26, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. Those present were: Mayor Tim Lovaasen, Councilmembers Gordon Swenson, Donald Ulrick and Benjamin Withhart. Councilmember Polston was absent. Also present were City Manager Leonard L. Kopp and City Clerk Mary H. Marske. The first item of discussion was the 1981 budget. MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of August 19, 1980 were presented for consideration. Ulrick moved and Withhart seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of August 19, 1980 as submitted. The vote was unanimously in favor. VACATION OF STORM SEWER EASEMENT Withhart moved and Ulrick seconded a motion RESOLUTION 80-335 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE VACATION OF A STORM SEWER EASEMENT TO BE HEARD SEPTEMBER 16, 1980 AT 7:30 P.M. The vote was unanimously in favor. BUFFALO BITUMINOUS CONTRACT The Council directed the Manager to send a letter to Buffalo Bituminous and request that they appear before the Council on September 2, 1980. ADJOURNMENT Withhart moved and Ulrick seconded a motion to adjourn to the next regular meeting on September 2, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. The vote was unanimously in favor, so adjourned.
